Hey guys/gals, was trying to learn steel guitar rag and was having trouble with the standard tab. I've found a way to do the same thing up on the 5th fret.
It's only for the first part.
I've never tabbed before but I took a crack at it in Microsoft Word in table format. I was wanting somebody to check and see if it is ok but I don't know how to upload it.
Is there a way to add in attachments? I looked through the faqs and only found uploading pictures.
Thanks,
Keith |

Here's a way to post stuff..
you need a photo editor like the FREE paint.net
Make it in what ever highlight and copy it.
Go to photo editor and click on the white page,
under edit pick PASTE and it should appear.
Go to tools and get rectangle select, drag mouse to highlight the part you want.
then go to image and pick, crop to selection,
click expand canvas if it asks.
Under file, save as, file type JPEG.
This should up load no prob.
Here is a tabby i made...

Thanks so much Ken. That will be good for the next time I might need to post something.
There's actually no need for me to post what I had now as Andy straightend me out on what I had. Mine was correct as far as notes went but as Andy pointed out I was all over the fret board.
He showed me a way to do the same thing on the 5th fret without moving around so much.
The way I had it would be impossible to ever develop any speed.
Anyway, thanks to you for your assistance, much appreciated and also a thank you to Andy again for helping me out.
This forum is awesome, I love it.
Thanks again,
Keith |
