I know very little about this guitar. It came out of Canada. I have had it for four or five years. Set it up played it, put it away. It appears that at some point the back neck was removed and put back on. All the swithches and knobs seem to function ok.
I would like $ 750.00 Shipped. The case is in good shape for its age too. The small slide switches at the back of the pick ups are tones switches, bass, treble , etc.

That's a CG-523, probably a '57.
Someone chopped out a section between the back neck and the middle neck, and re-mounted the controls on the back edge.
According to the Gibson Steel Guitars book, they only made 37 of that model.

Thank you for the info. I really didn't know any of the details of the guitar.

Looks like when they did the 'chop job', they also removed the tone and volume defeat contact buttons. Of course there's always the possibility that this was done as a custom job at the factory but that would surprise me.

Even with the alterations, I'd buy this in a heartbeat if I had the cash. I have a D-8 in this style and it sounds amazing. I'd love to have a triple. This model never gets the respect of the older CGs but I think they sound great when the electronics are working correctly.

I'd still love to do some trading with you Willis!

The chopped out section held the volume and tone controls, audio cut-off and tone-reverse buttons, and a four-way (neck 1, neck 2, neck 3, all necks on) slide switch like the coil selector switches (full coil, full plus treble, full plus bass, all three coils on).

The guitar is no longer for sale it is going back in the closet. Too many low ball offers and insulting comments.
