Here are a few live recordings from the band I've played with for the past 30 years - The Lost World String Band (this is the band I was on Prairie Home Companion with). We were in concert last Saturday night. Yes, there is steel guitar content!

Great stuff, G. Excellent quality recording, too. Sounds like you all had a great time. Will there be more gigs in your future? Pass the ducks, please. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

Remarkably the recording was made with my Zoom H4N perched on a table in front of the stage. Just using the built in stereo mics.
I set a recording level and pressed "Go".
We are looking for more gigs. I was on the road for 10 years with this group when I was in my twenties. Since then we've averaged about 2-3 local gigs a year. Families, kids, jobs etc.
Now we are all empty nesters and looking for gigs again. _________________ Gerald Ross

Great stuff, Gerald! My fav was " Its a Sin To Tell a Lie", which coincidentally I played with my newly formed trio at a gig on Tuesday, but I think your version was more upbeat and quite fantastic!
Great recording and atmosphere too!
