I saw it on Ebay. Did Fender make them in blue or is it a refinish which I believe?

thanks, Ron

That's a Champ alright but with an obvious re-fin as shown by the missing “Fender Fullerton" decal on the upper bout. They are next to impossible to reproduce and every Champ that I have ever seen of that era had one or a variant (like the "White" model)! So don't be fooled, believe me if it could be done I would have done it.
Still, a very nice $300 guitar, too bad the bridge cover is missing along with the case.
I love my 1959 Champ (yes it was refinished too) but if you need a Fender quality, affordable 6-string lap steel you can't go too wrong as long as the electronics are original as they appear to be.
The seller apparently hasn’t a clue so ask many questions and ask about a return policy if the guitar shows up and is a nightmare.
