Billy Mata & the Texas Tradtion will be heading out Thursday (04/15/10) am for Sidney By The Sea,BC for the Victoria Hot Jazz Jubilee. There is a diversity of music. We will be doing more Western Swing than shuffles and waltzes. We will probably be the only group with a steel guitar and Cowboy Hats. Its a 4 day event. We're looking to have a good time. We've never been to this part of the country before so we're really looking forward to it. From what I hear we'll need our long sleeve shirts and jackets, not quite like South Texas. Anyone in the area come on out. I meet some Canadian Artist with Al Brisco at The Dallas steel show. Be sure and look me up if you come out.

Roger, I'd bet that you and your steel will be a hit. They'll probably appreciate Billy backing you, too.

Hey Roger, that last time I was in Victoria, BC.. there was a really great bag pipe player down by the waterfront... who did all Beatles's songs.... ya know hearing "Eleanor Rigby" in in all major chords kind of sent a shiver up me spine Smile

You guys will slay 'em! And then you will turn your sights on the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee... again... I hear the young gals are still weeping from when ya'll left Sacramento last year....

Smile

Give me a call if you need some amps in Sac.!
