This guitar will make somebody very pleased.
I happen to have this same 07' model,(and color).
The 07' Ultra's have the standard polished steel changer fingers, which I prefer.
(as opposed to the stainless fingers which later became the 'new standard' feature.)
I also kept the stock GFI II pickups intact, and it records very nicely using a POD XT as a driver.
Any GFI seems to be a great feeling, & great playing guitar, right out of the box; but with a few simple D.I.Y. modifications, they're tighter, more true, and feel even better than you could ever imagine.
This is absolutely the easiest guitar I've ever had to work on, or customize. There is also a super simple way to make the VL more accessible,(lower) which can be a bugger of a problem with some brands.
Good luck with the sale, Kenny.
More info on the modifications,

thanks Dale, you're right. This was my first pro model guitar and right out of the case all I had to do was tune up a little bit and then I was playing. It's just that easy. This is a very difficult decision for me to make. I hate to see her go... _________________ Mullen RP SD-10, Hilton volume pedal, Peavey Nashville 112, George L's. |
