Just finished watching the show. Oh-My-God. People, what do you want? Ray on Marty sounding as good as ever, and if that wasn't enough, "A Way To Survive." It just doesn't get any better. It doesn't. Very Happy Very Happy

Just finished watching this one; and probably my favorite to date!! Of course, I'm a little partial to anything involving Ray Price.. Gary Carter really shined on 'A way to survive'!!
And of course Ray is so smooth sounding even at the age of 84!!!

I was just sure Ray would do For The Good Times as his second song tonight.....what a TREAT that he did A Way To Survive. "It just doesn't get any better" than that, thank you Ray Price! Great job Gary Carter. Smile

I really enjoyed Way to Survive and the backing by Gary Carter was perfect. Gary's playing was very tasteful and of course, Ray's delivery was nothing short of perfection. Great show!

Don't forget Mississippian Hank Cochran who wrote
Way To Survive. He was in the audience when Ray sang his song.

How many times have we heard a ton of different steelers do "Way to Survive"? Buddy created a classic arrangement thats done over and over and over and over and did I say over?..As much as I like and respect Garys playing he kept it recognizable with a flash of Emmons arrangement. But until someone comes along that can sing it better than the "Chief"...I'll never tire of the song and his Voice..As in both cases how can one improve on something thats been done great the first time?
