I have found a tube direct box called the REDDI build by ADesigns Audio in California that makes my steel sound great if I have to go direct. There is an output pot that lets you have a bit more control and the sound is really warm. I've always had a problem going direct but this box works.... Dave

Thanks. I recently attended one of Mike Perlowyn's Steel Jams and it inspired me to start practicing and getting involved again. I'm actually thinking about buying another guitar to have around to shop so I can play all the time. Dave
