Hi Folks
looking for an ab split box or similer system re 2 guitars to 1 amp ,tried a couple now but they both suck out the tone sounding very middle,y
appreciate any suggestions

the best Ive found are the ones I make because they are totally passive, completely grounded and I can customize the cases. Its super easy to do it.

I use the basic, passive DOD A/B box and have not noticed any tone change.

Here's the one I prefer as it has individual output adjustments and can be configured a variety of ways. Multiple instruments into one amp or one instrument split into combo amps. Quite versatile.

Very odd that it has a tip positive power connector, which means it won't work with most external supplies.

I use an A/B-Y switch by RFX (Rolls) and/or a custom made pedal, just like the one shown above @ Fulltone link...

Big fan of the Boss LS-2. It's amazing how versatile this pedal is. It can perform an astonishing number of functions. Check out the pdf to see how useful this thing is. I have two of them.
