Thanks to the Venues

I have often wondered do we thank the venues enough for letting steel guitar shows use their facilities? I will be the first to raise my hand to say I haven't called and thanked them for a nice room or service provided. I do thank them at the counter, but maybe a word by email or phone might also prove helpfull. I would like to hear what you all have to say, I enjoy the venues I play at and from now on will make a special point to contact after the show and let them know.
