What kind of steel is this? Does anyone know the scale length?

Just measure from the "Nut" to the "Bridge" and that is the "Scale Length".

By magnifying the picture and using the brass part of the 1/4" plug as a reference, it appears to be approximately a 24" scale.

Yes, the bridge def looks the same as this old EMU. The headstock does not, but coulda been modded I guess. Yours doesn't have the custom added K1 grandkid treatment however. Laughing Laughing

FWIW, this one has a 23" scale. A lot of these things had no identifying labels other than the Electromuse script on the pickup which is the case with my piece of art here. Winking

In 1950 my father gave me a new Electromuse which I still have. I see similarities with your guitar.
