I must agree....what a great weekend in Apache Junction. Hal and all the guys played great. Yes, Frank and Fran came all the way from Northern California....and what a great smooth player Frank is. And Fred Justice plays so great!!! Good job my friend. A great time, and we are tired but happy. We are gonna do this again before too long, so those of you who missed this one, be ready for another GoRound from the SWSGA. And thanks to all who came and participated, watched, gave moral support, joined, etc. From the bottom of our hearts, God Bless each of you.

Sam, We don't, but the college has insurance for community activities. They consider this a fundraiser for the college scholarship program.

It was indeed fun and educational, Every time I feel I am in a learning slump, I go watch these great players like Hal , Billy, Fred, Frank, etc. And boy does it spark the learning interest. It is just wonderful to see so many Steel players doing so many wonderful things with the pedal steel guitar. If anyone has an interest in music of any kind they should check out the SW Steel guitar Jam. This is really musicians music.
Thank you to all the great musicians that performed.

The two day drive for Fran and I was well
worth it. We had a super time!! Thanks
to all of our friends in Apache Junction.
What made this special to me was getting to
play with two live bands. Billy Easton's
band does a great job backing up Hal and all
the rest of the steel players. We look
forward to the next jam and know they will
get better and better. Thanks for the nice
compliments. Also, thanks Hal for the lick
of the day. Till next time,
Frank & Fran
