A number of years back a tone modification was made available for the Peavey Nashville 400 amps. Does anyone know what year Peavey started installing the tone mod and what serial no. was the first?

It was around Sept 96 that it was incorporated into production. I had ordered a new Nashville 400 in the spring and the dealer had me talk directly to Mike Brown about getting the mod installed before delivery. Mike told me at the time that he had been "thinking of incorporating it into production and that he thought he would now do it". Mine was built then sent to the service department for the mod and then to the dealer and thus was probably instrumental in getting it incorporated into the next production when it was.

Amps starting with serial number 08575482 have the mod incorporated into the amp at production.
