Just a reminder to anyone interested. We are having another big Arizona Jam in Apache Junction at the Central Arizona Community College on May 10 and 11. Same place as last time, with featured artist, the legendary HAL RUGG!! This is no charge to members and spouses of our organization, and a mere $10 to others. Lots of pickers. Bring your guitar for a "Round Robin" of playing with Band in the Box tracks. We will have live back up band for Hal, and others to be announced. We are waiting for confirmation from other players, including Norm Hamlett and Mike Smith. This will be a big Steel Guitar Show....come out and show your support. We are expecting folks from Arizona, California, Nevada, Colorado, and I don't know where else. Come and join us!! Gary Walker (Morro Bay) are you listening? Gerry Walker (San Diego) do you hear me? Come on you guys. We are in for a great time, so come and be with us!! Check out our website for details. www.swsteelguitar.com

Lookin' forward to the event.....Just curious, If folks wanna join the association they and thier spouse are covered for admission,,,,The $10 bucks for outsiders and wannabes, does that cover the couple or per person?? Per day??
C'mon folks join us. You'll not have a better time than to enjoy chillin' with these fine folks.

Yes Billy, I'm listening but do you realize that's Mother's Day weekend? You don't know my ole momma, haha. She thinks that day was created just for her. I don't know whether I can sneak that past her but we'll see. Would love to be there. |

I think bringing a Mother to a steel guitar jam is a fitting thing to do. We all feel like brothers so all of each others mothers are all of ours.I,for a change,am serious about the above statement. We can dedicate this jam to them.
