I have two mandolins that I'm putting up for sale:
#1 is a 2009 Kentucky KM-505. This is a great mandolin for the money. I've been using it for gigs with a jazz trio, and it sounds good, and when playing acoustic, it has no problem competing with the guitar and bass. It has all solid, hand carved woods. The action is low and comfortable, and it's in mint condition. It has a custom made internal pickup with endpin jack that works great. Comes with HSC. Asking $400 shipped in the continental U.S.
#2 is a 2006 Blue Star 5-string Mandoblaster solid body electric. It has a solid wood body with a face made of a phenolic plastic in swirl blue. Curly maple neck with maple fingerboard. 1 lipstick tube pickup, string through body bridge. Excellent condition with alittle fretwear, but no buzzing or any problems. Comes with a heavy duty HSC. Asking $500 shipped.
I'm selling these so I can buy a pre-WWII Gibson mandolin. I'm mostly interested in a teens A model with an oval soundhole. Let me know if you have something that you're interested in trading.

The Bluestar is sold, but the Kentucky is still available.
This is a whole lot of mandolin for the money. It's ready to take out and gig with, acoustic or electric. |
