Ebb,

A consideration, just in case you might not be aware: Jason Lollar makes excellent stringmaster replacement pickups. And they'll be new, fresh, strong, trouble-free and have the best of the old original stringmaster pickups that varied a bit unit-to-unit ....sometimes quite a "bit". And made by one of the the top true experts of modern pickups.

But if a set of originals were good in all mechanical and sound aspects, ....then they would certainly be well worth $150 for the set ! ......imho fwiw.
