This is a 1977 model S-10 with 3&4 that plays and sound fantastic. I haven't seen any other MSA's this color and it sure is a beauty! Currently setup Day style copendant with an original Bill Lawrence pickup installed. The original case is functional and does the job, but has it's share of tears in the tolex. Asking $1250 shipped in the lower 48.
Thanks,
Dave

Clean as a pin here. Nice guitar with a price that'll be hard to beat. David's a good guy to do business with also. This would be a guitar to keep!

Billy, thanks for the kind words Buddy! I have two of these otherwise I would be keeping it. With the Lawrence pickup it almost sounds ShoBud-ish. Reasonable offers considered.
Thanks,
Dave

I've lowered the price to $1250 shipping included in the lower 48. I will also change the guitar to the setup of the buyers preference.
Thanks,
Dave

FWIW: I strongly believe this to be my first pro grade pedal steel. The pickup and the small brown dot on the front apron are what make me pretty certain of it's provenance. I bought it from Jerry Anderson in 1977. I was living in Norman Oklahoma at the time. Jerry Horner arranged the purchase for me. I installed the L-705 pickup in it (which was a huge improvement).

I sold it to someone (cannot remember who) in the Hudson Valley around 1979 or 1980. I was living in Stormville NY at the time.

It was a great guitar and was well taken care of.

Best of luck with it, enjoy for many years to come.

Sincerely,

JW

John you are correct and your memory is great! I was all of 10 years old at that time. Cool

The guy I bought it from lives in New York. He said his grand father bought the guitar in the late 70's and passed away in the mid 80's. It was in storage in the case from that point on.

Yes, Yes..NORMAN Horner...thanks Reece for jogging my memory...Exactly right! I would have loved to have bought that guitar (again) for sentimental (and practical) reasons...but well...you know...It was a real sweetie though, and I'm sure it still is.

Very best to all,

JW
