Edit your Title To Include BMI in it and I'm Sure Dan Burnham will respond to What the BMI Factory reccomends.

Sounds good. When I visited the Carter factory, Bud liked 'Zoom. It also has along tube attached to control where you want it. I've been usung it and like it a lot. When my friend Dick Miller was my neighbor in Vegas, he recommended , if you oil it, oil it about once a yr. He said oil attracts dirt and for that reason, he said oil it sparingly. He helped build the Fessenden and Crawford's guitars. Dick was a picky one for workmanship. I enjoyed hangin out when he was with us. I always enjoyed his picken. Ted

See the other recent post. Dan recommends STP. "The Racer's Edge" You'll probably be able to play speed licks a lot better.

I use REMOIL made be Remington Arms. I have found out it does a great job. Stay away from WD-40, it attracts dirt that'll gum up the changer.

I'm with Mr.Tommy Shown on this one. RemOil with teflon is some magical stuff, works wonders on everything and it's the only oil i use on my Emmons and Fessenden guitars.

What about graphite powder? The stuff that's used to lubricate door locks? It is totally dry, and very slippery, lasts a long time...
