I was going to have a crack at 12-string E9 and so I acquired this guitar. It was then a universal set-up. Now I find I'm becoming attached to the back-neck on my D-10s all over again so, for now, I'm back to playing those.

These pictures show the guitar before Mike Mantey, at my request, converted it to 'Day' set-up extended E9th. Here you can see it has seven pedals and six knees. Currently, though, two of those pedals are removed and are in the case with all their attachments; they will, of course, be included with the guitar.

It's royal blue and in very good condition. The only flaw I can see is a somewhat dull front on the pedal-bar.

PRICE REDUCED TO.....
$2150 plus shipping. I can take PayPal but you'd have to add their 2.9% charge to the price.

*****I would also consider a trade for a D-10 of similar quality********

This guitar is still available, but now I'd really like to shift it because there's another steel out there that I'd really like to buy!

I'm adding a couple more pics to show the guitar as it looks now with two of the pedals (seen in the first photos) removed.

Let me stress that all the stuff that Mike Mantey removed is with the guitar and will go to the new owner - all cross-shafts, of course, are still in place, so it can easily be a universal again should someone want that.

I've got one the same color that I ordered as an SD-12 E9 with the polished package. Plays great and sounds great also. Not sure if the scale length is the same as a 10 string but the 3rd string doesn't break as often as on 10 stringed units.
A friend of mine played it when it was delivered to the Dallas show several years ago. He liked it enough so he ordered a U12.
