Jerry, about the seat belt thread -

Sorry it turned into a joke before you got any serious answers. I don't think anyone meant harm.

Before you use any kind of belt have you considered changing the height of the steel and/or seat?

When I first started steel mine was about 1 1/2" too high. This made me slide forward on my chair to operate the knees properly, and while I never actually did, I had the sense I was falling out of the seat.

Had one with a seat belt as a joke but it was an auto quality seat belt.

Yes the real answer is to get the correct height for YOU.

I smile when someone asks for a standard height seat - my thought is what is a standard SIZE (height and leg length) person.
