Very rare ca 1920s Weissenborn Style B, Size 0 X braced Parlor Guitar with original Spanish set up. An absolutely amazing totally original survivor! Not many of these fine quality instruments left out there and certainly not in this stunning original condition. Nary a crack or any sign of repairs anywhere and a trademark Herman Weissenborn "Bat Wing" bridge you could stare at all day. The 80 plus year old tight finish crazing on the flamed Koa is simply gorgeous! The comfortable V shaped neck and headstock are also Koa! Ebony fretboard. This is an all original guitar sans a bone saddle in place of the original brass bar. Very cool original engraved tuning machines and the cream colored buttons match the bridge pins. Recent neck set making it suitable for all styles of play. This X braced beauty features a deep body, 4 ¼” at the lower bout and 3 ½” at the upper bout making it comfortable for knee or lap style play. Nice wide 12 fret fingerboard measuring 1 7/8” at the nut. 13 1/2" wide lower bout with a 17" fretboard and a 25 1/4" scale length.

The sound? Remarkable.
