Hi, all! My name is Izzy, and I'm living and playing in Pittsburgh, PA!
I have been at non-pedal C6 for about a year now........and it haunts my dreams. (Kind of not kidding! )
I'm about to undertake the Herculean task of buying an S10 and learning it; it's really nice to have such an organized place to find information, and so many learned individuals to contribute!
God bless us all as we walk down this path!

Welcome to the best place on the internet to assist in the control and maintenance of our affliction. That is if you are indeed infected with the heinous "Steel Staph. It sure sounds as though you are a victim of it's wrath especially since you have the overwhelming desire to acquire that S10. It is just the beginning, but with the support groups here, it can be managed. Steel Staph is now recognized as a disease that once contracted, cannot be eradicated with any medicinal therapies known to man. Again, WELCOME! |

There's a reason for that. Generally, pedal steel players use the pedals mostly on E9 and not much on C6. I would recommend buying a D10 PSG.
Welcome to the Forum, Izzy. There's more information about steel guitars and their players here on the Forum than anywhere else in the world.
...and steel guitarists are the best bunch of guys you'll ever meet. |

Yeah, I think I saw a guy once wearing shoes in W Va.
Actually, my S 10 purchase will be for something tuned to E9; my National D8 gets me by for the C6 sound, and my back wont let me get a D10. |
