I bought a Carter U12 a few months ago which had a GeorgeL pickup on it. I recently replaced it with an Alumitone. Not sure what I'll do with it at this point, but would like to know wich pickup it is. There are no markings on it other than the GeorgeL label on the top of it. All I know at this point is that it is certainly a GeorgeL 12 string pickup. There is nothing underneath, or anywhere else, indicating the model. If a picture would help let me know. Is there a way I can tell which one it is?

My guess would be a BC-12,´though it could be a 12-1
OR an E 66.McUtsi

no markings would indicate it's a 12-1. Put a meter on it and it should show in the 19.5K range

Get an up close look at the bottom. It being a Carter it's most likely a 12-1.Unlike the E66. The EON's and maybe others were not marked on the top side. Hope this helps.

You can go to the George L site and look at pictures. But they may not be conclusive. Bobby's probably nailed it.
