Hi could some please explain how to read the tab's
below..up to now ive been on a book but now am stuck
pic 1 where the 7.7.7.6 are these played as c7 then a7 then g7 or are they played as a strum
Might be easyer if rather me saying do i do it this way or that way...if some one could explain how it should be played

When you see the numbers directly above one another, that is a chord. When the notes appears one after the other on the horizontal line, they are picked individually. It's as if looking at the tab from left to right is a timeline.

could I ask an other please....
The - between 6 and 7 E string and the 6-5 , first pic Is this a slide between the two notes ??
and are both note's picked ??

yes, that would be a slide, generally not picked.

its not that we are all stupid in uk. ( well not all of it anyway )
The book is a beginers and ive been used to...

it is written with bar lines and a - indicating a beat.and a slide that looks like - but is slanted
(which I know we dont have on standard key board)

I surpose I will have to get used to the big boy's tab's and weain off the baby book..
