Great playing and sounding Martin Dreadnaught.Serial # 4355XX.No cracks or repairs.I tried to show some strum marks on the face of the guitar, nothing major. This is the herringbone version of the D-35,212 made in '81 I believe.Finish is holding up nicely and it hasn't exhibited any structural problems. This guitar sings, bright trebles, sweet mid-range, and the knock-your- fillings-loose bass.A new one will set you back $2,800 without the benefit of 29 years of aging.$2,000.Shipping/insur. included to the lower 48

These have the scalloped bracing similar to the pre-war Martins which sets it apart from the D-28's and D-35's.Nice "fat" tone for finger style and can certainly hold its own as a bluegrass flat-pick guitar.
