Wow what a flashback! I'm a banana slug alum and I took a couple classes from Prof Lieberman in the early 90's. I thought he was just name dropping to impress the hippy chicks when he would mention hanging out with Mickey Hart. Kudos to that old musical loving ethnomusicologist.
