Has anybody tried Elixer strings? specifically E9th.
If so, how do you like them? _________________ GFI Expo SD10, Nashville 112, Steelers choice Pak-a- seat, Carter vol. pedal, Stage one vol. pedal, Peavey Deltafex. Goodrich volume pedal. |

Thanks Warren. The reason I was asking was because a friend of mine who plays a six string uses them and said they were really good. I don't even know if they make them in sets for E 9th steel. I have been using SIT Buddy Emmons signature series for several years and I like them. I was just curious. Thanks for your input. Elixer strings don't have much of a purpose on the pedalsteel. There isn't a big problem with the strings getting corroded from sweat so the coating is not effective. The main problem with steel strings going bad is the constant stretching the pedals do. The coating has no effect on that. _________________ Bob |
