I have been watching tape all day of ACL and saw a lot of steelers. Phil Coontz with Mel Tillis, Terry Crisp with Ricky Scaggs, A steeler they did not identify with,He was playing a double neck lap Fender and an Emmons, Asleep at the Wheel and he played with the whole group of people who star'd, on acl in the beginning,Jerry Jeff Walker, Marsha Ball,Gary P.Nunn, Rusty Weir, and Steve Fromholtz,who I really liked his song , "Late Night Neon Shadows" Five of the best I ever saw, Bela Fleck,Sam Bush,John Cowan,Jerry Douglas andPat Flynn. Thomas(Tommy) White was With the Whites. Donnie Lavalley was with Reba( Mcyntire ) And Bruce Bouton With the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. I really enjoyed my afternoon. Ray
