Has anyone found a reliable source for learning who the musicians were on a given recording?
For example: Who played steel and lead guitar on this Ricky Van Shelton recording.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I don't know how reliable it is, but allmusic.com has some credits. http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:hjfwxqe5ld6e~T2

The song appears on RVS III album and lists Paul Franklin along with Tommy Hannum as steel artists.

Steve Gibson, Mark Casstevens and Larry Byrom are credited with guitar.

No info for that specific song, but either Tommy or Paul may know who did that one.

Thank you Jerry. That's a great place to start.
I admit my interest is more a trivia concern than anything else.
Thank you so much.

It's Paul Franklin.
