It looks somewhat like an Ernie Ball guitar, but I am not positive.

Made in Vancouver, BC by John Heard in the early 1980s. That one would have cost about $200 new. John intentionally built them cheap for new players to get a taste of pedal steel playing. If the player didn't like PSG, he wasn't out much money.

I started with a 3 and 1 version of that guitar. Building and repairing other PSGs was how John kept busy during retirement.

Am I seeing right? I count ten pulls on that guitar - with only 2 pedals and 1 knee?

Gil,
What you're seeing in the picture
is, since it's a keyless, likely
the tuners for the open tuning,
while the tuners for the pedals
and lever would be at the
changer-end of the guitar.
Notice the tuners are staggered, with
the top row of tuners corresponding to
the odd-numbered strings, and the lower
row for the even-numbered strings.

Ten fingers on each end for tuning(both open and for pulls) Each finger is a one piece unit.

I have a 3&1 version sitting here.
