We opened for Deke Dickerson last night.
He had a great guitar player, that sang, and is also a very impressive pedal steel player. His name is Joel Paterson.'Worth checking out,as was the entire band. |

Yes, Joel is an excellent steel player.
He has a CD called "Steel Is Real". Check it out on the Internet.

I was there also.
This is a don't miss show.
The Modern Sounds do a set and then Deke comes out and joins them.
Lots of talent here, folks.
Hey Gary, I enjoyed your set also. I really like your singer, she's got a great voice that perfectly fits into the music you guys are playing.
All in all, it was a great night out for me and the wife.
The only downside was I was stuck there with Chris Ivey all night!!!

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |
