I've been looking for an old Electro Harmonix "Deluxe Memory Man" for a while now and pretty much gave up on finding one. I was in guitar center the other day and saw the EH display in which they had a new "Memory Man", a "Memory Boy" and last but not least, a "Memory Toy". They were all analog delays which was nice but I tried out the "Memory Toy" and it sounded great and only had three knobs which made it simple to operate. I took one home for only $79 and so far have worked two gigs with it on steel and it's what I've been looking for. I think it's a very good delay unit for the steel guitar and is well within the budget of anyone looking for an echo device.......Anyone else ever use one of these?.........JH in Va.

Hi Jerry
I have a Dan Electro DE-1 Delay, which sounds real close to my Deluxe Memory Man (2000 Model) I had & sold. I had to give the DE-1 a try cause Mr. Mooney is using one.
Havn't tried the Memory Boy or Memory Toy, I'm sure they are good.
The ole Deluxe Memory Man 79-80's (The Old Blue one) with the old BBC chips sure had the killer tone from the old days.

Jerry - I've got a Memory Toy, which is part of their "Nano" series, and I love it. I use it with the "Nano" Holy Grail reverb. The two work very well together and they're both very small boxes.
