Just got my 614-e chassis back from Ken Fox. Great sounding amplifier, and Ken just made it sound even better. All cleaned up, smooth, clear, growly, too. Hubba-hubba.
Mine is serial #654, an early one for sure. Any of you out there thinking about having Ken do the work, well, get going on it. Ken was very helpful, got it done ahead of schedule, and it sounds super.
I'm now thinking of having him fix up another Webb, model 540 Bass/Keyboard head - does anyone have a schematic or know about these? It sounds pretty good, and it's a bit lighter than hauling around the entire combo all at once.
