I need two more of the under the deck tuners for my Emmons. I am not sure what they are called, maybe split tuners? Bobbe doesn't have any. Thanks for your help.

I'm guessing you're talking about half tone tuners.

The tuners he is talking about are the ones used to fine tune certain strings when there are multiple pulls on the same string. For example, on the E string, the raise to F# is adjust normally but the E to F change has to be fine tuned underneath with that screw gizmo.

They are called half tone tuners. Pretty easy to make. Let me know if you can't find any.

Actually, they're not just half tone tuners. I had quite a few under my old Emmons U-12. They're used to tune any note that is found between the highest raised note and the open note, or a note that is found between the lowest lowered note and the open note.

For example, you could have a string raised one and half steps with a knee-lever, and you would tune the raise with the tuning key and the open note at the end plate. Then, you could have another raise of only one step and tune it under the guitar with one of these devices. They can be a bear to reach on the lowers!

Of course it is on a lower that I need to add the tuner. But once they are installed, they work great.
