Ralph Mooney made quite a mark in history (at least the kind of history some of us follow) with his steel work in Buck Owens' "Foolin' Round".
I grew up with that tune, I was studying that tune before I learned about girls...

Kudos to the steeler from the Derailers.

He did a really pleasing job in recreating the feeling of that steel break, yet threw in his own artistry too.

Never got the feeling that he was merely trying to "copy" it.
