Some of the Mother-Of-Toilet-Seat finish is coming up on an edge/corner of my 1954 Fender Champion.

Looks to me like an easy glue job but I want to know what type of glue to use - Elmers? Super Glue?

Thanks.

I had some of the MOT start to come loose on my Multi-Kord years ago and I put a little 5 minute epoxy on it. I let it overlap the edge just a little bit. It is still holding well.

You might light sand near the edge to give the glue something to grasp onto.

I've used instant-cure super-glue to repair MOT finishes/coverings. You have to be very careful not to allow any squeeze-out get onto the finish, as it will melt it. You can use paste-wax to protect the material adjacent to the area to be repaired. Wear gloves and use tools to hold the finish in place while the glue sets up. Have some accelerant handy. Just be very careful with the stuff, and you'll be surprised by how quickly and easily you can fix that finish!
