John Call,steeler from the original Pure Prarie League band was at the show last night.He helped out on sound and is a wonderful person.His wife was a featured act on the show and I was honored to back up such a talanted singer.Jody Harris, guitarist from John Michal Montgomery band also was at the show.

So Bob... is he still playing steel somewhere?
His playing was a big inspiration in getting me started playing steel back in the 70's.

He is backing up his wife,which is a very talanted singer and is going to really shine.He said he is playing an Emmons Lagrand, Jim Day set up with a pedal lowering b a half step and g# a half step omitting e raise which is common.He's comming over to jam some soon and I hope I can get him to post some on the forum.He will also be doing some fill in time at the show for me.He would make a great subject for an interview in the new magazine.
