Anyone had experience using Peterson's StroboRack Tuner with PSG.....limitations, quirks, reliability? Are there other single space rack tuners out there that one should consider as well?

Thanks for your input.

Chuck

as far as i'm concerned Chuck the Peterson Strobo-Rack is one of the best tuners around
it has presets for E9 & C6 as well as guitbox, 6 & 8 open tunings as well as many other stringed instruments
you can sweeten & program your own tunings

the only grudge i have, is some of the lettering & titles are a bit small
peterson could/should have made the window bigger
otherwise i'm very happy w: mine

Granted the Stroborack is costly but it's maintenance & battery free
Looks like the StroboFlip is the most popular among steelers

I have two seperate rack systems and have one mounted in each. They are really easy to use and dependable. No problems ever and no complaints.

Ditto on CrowBears reply.
Also... no wallwort. Fits nicely in a rack slot.

Chuck I have 2 of them and they are the best out there, I also used a Korg DTR1000 rack tuner for a while but the Peterson is far superior... as well as the above mentioned features it also has a sweetener for Uni S12 which the others don't...
You can also programme up a library of presets which is handy if you play multi instruments like I do.
Crowbear you need to get new glasses mate Very Happy

I use a Stroborack in one of my setups. For those gigs that are quick "pick-up-n-go" I use the Stroboflip.

The Stroborack is the best. Works great. Pricey. Finding a used one is possible but hard.

Most people secretly hope that when their rich uncle passes on he will leave them the farm and the farm house and all of the money in the bank.

My public dream is when my crabby old rich uncle passes on that he will leave me a lock box in the bank full of Peterson Tuners 2 of each and 3 of the stroborack Smile

Obviously I'm joking I'm 55 and all of my rich uncles have already spent every penny they ever made Smile
