I ususally try to pick a style that works for me. However sometimes I need a jazz style but with a blues walking bass. I cannot find an existing style anywhere. I checked and saw you can edit an individual instruments pattern. Looks like Chinese to me. Help???

Ron -

What might be easier and quicker than
editing is to create a 'hybrid style'
by combining favorite instruments from
different styles into a 'user' style.

I'm not certain in what version (year)
this became available, but you might
check your version for this feature,
and/or go to pgmusic.com and do a
search for Hybrid Style Maker.

That worked. I was able to pull a walking bass from a blues shuffle style and a jazz piano and drums style form a Jobim jazz bossa. Exactly what I been looking for.

Wow do I love this forum.
