We took in Wayne Hancock last night at Old Ironsides in Sacramento. Great show by a great band. What energy. It is a relatively small venue and the crowd is literally right in the face of the performer. Wayne did not disappoint. Great non pedal work and very good lead and standup bass. I recommend this show to anyone who has a chance to see them as they travel about the West here in February.

I love Wayne the Train! I wish he'd make it to Tennessee once in a while... Who's playing steel with him now? |

I just checked his web-site and I see he's playing the Muddy Roots Music Festival in Cookeville, Tennessee on May the 29th! Twang dang doo! |

Thanks to John for being the "designated driver" and allowing for a most enjoyable evening, and Bob, I am curious about that volume pedal that allowed for the horizontal foot movement' Jim |

As usual, the universe (and my wife) allowing, I'll be at their show at Uptown in Oakland on Saturday night. Anyone wants to join me, drop me a line.

Thanks for coming to the show. It was a fun one. The volume pedal is an old Fender volume/tone pedal. Gotta have it for the Wayne gig. I'm off now to a show in Eureka. _________________ Bob |
