Just did a good session using my new 15/16 J H bar. You need to try one, ifyou get a chance. The J H bar (Stands for John Hughey) is unique in that it has been drilled to weigh the same as the 13/16 bar. there's no tone change and I like it because the extra size Helps, if you've got a touch of arthritus. Thanks Stu for using the 15/16 JH Bar, the weight change is that the weight of the 10 String 15/16 will weight in within a few grams of the 7/8" solid bar.
And your right you don't lose the tone, it's all there.
