Come on Texas; can't someone get this going? IMO, Randy is one of the best ever. For example give a listen to Randy doing the opening on Bobby Flores new CD "Eleven Roses", "Danny Boy". I'm not takng anything away from the other outstanding psg musicians that work with Bobby, I enjoy them all, but come on guys. |

If you will go to www.yellowroserecords.com, click on the sound bite of his intro to "Danny Boy", IMO, this is one sample of his talent. I also have the CD by Christine Mims where he does all the steel work and IMO, it covers different styles on the E-9 and C-6. Chet Atkins had an expression, "he deserves to be heard", and I believe this is so appropo here. I just hate to see this calibre of talent go unrecorded on an instrumental CD in our lifetime. |

Randy absolutely knocks me out! I've got all of Bobby's CD's as well as the Christine Mims CD "Perfect For a Rainy Day" that Charles mentioned. Everything he plays always perfectly compliments the song. If you haven't heard his playing, you are surely missing out on a treat!! _________________ Respectfully,

For the first time (that I can remember) Randy is scheduled to play. Super sound and arrangement on the above metioned song, Cold Cold War. |

An instrumental CD by Randy Reinhard would be a "must have".
The tone he has on the Bobby Flores albums is the best tone I have ever heard recorded - just perfect for this kind of music. And his playing is fantastic and often extremly sophisticated (solo on Bobby FLores' "Unloved, Unwanted" and the C-6 work on "Bubbles in my beer") _________________ Emmons D-10 P/P 78", Franklin D-10, Zum Encore. I just received Bobby Flores CD, "Eleven Roses". Hey, I just had to hear the rest of "Danny Boy" and those other songs on this great CD by Bobby. Me gusto sus canciones amigo. Not only is Randy's playing fantastic on this song, but, IMO, I've never hear anyone sing "Danny Boy" better than Bobby Flores. Also, there is, IMO, outstanding psg playing by Dickey Overbey, Tommy Detamore and Jim Loessberg on some of the songs. I believe that Randy plays on six of these songs. Love it!!! |
