I have these observations on it:
1. he plays mostly on the high end of the fretboard
2. he uses only one finger pic plus thumbpick
3. he holds the bar (or whatever it is) differently
4. he flips his thum down on the strings periodically

I'd like to know what the tuning(s) are which you can see in the following two videos, but my knowledge of Portuguese is zilch!!! Are the tunings some that are recognized?

Is the song/hymn he's playing "Muito Alem Do Sol" translatable into one we know in English. It's a very pretty tune whatever it is.

Maybe Adair Torres you could shed some light on this.
