Hello
Just got in the door an old LP that turned out to be a steel guitar LP,but never heard of it,or the band name.
Maybe this was a band that played the Nashville scene in the 60`s or 70`s.No year is listed on the cover.
The LP is called Rose Garden-Crown CST 627.
Name of band is "The 19th. & Cherry Gang."
Playing is quite good.I have 3 LP`s by Red Rhodes on this label,but this seems to be something else. An all steel album,and alot of hot playing,and never heard of it!.Was this a band put together for this LP,or was there ever a band with this name.Crown was a label out of Los Angeles,so maybe it`s musicians out of the westcoast area? If anyone can help,I will be happy!
