Is it a worthwhile upgrade? I currently have a 110, (thanks Gary Preston), which I like. I've an 'opportunity' to purchase the 200 model, literally unused, for $125. I know the going rate is $200 for new 200's at most stores. My question is simply is the upgrade itself worth it...ie..enough of an upgrade to warrant the money? Suggestions and opinions are all more than welcome. Thanks all.
Bob

Thanks for the input, Irv and Ken. I appreciate it. I'm still enjoying your tabs Irv. Thanks again. I hoped someone had upgraded from the 110 to the 200. I've read the stats for both and compared them. Guess I just am not crazy about parting with the $ unless it's a worthwhile upgrade. That's what I'm really hoping to find out. I do thank you both for your input though, as it always helps to know those things. Bob

I went from the MPX100 to the MX200 and I'm very satisfied. The MX200 has 2 independant prosessors and you have more control setting the parameters. I have no complaints with the MPX100. Mine served me well.

On the other hand...I went from a 100 to a 200 and regreted it almost immediately. The 100 had a very straight forward turn the knob set up wereas the 200 had 9000 different parameters that were way over my head and didn't sound any better.Just my experince/opinion,of course. If you like to fine tune and program it would be an advatage. It also has an AC cord as opposed to the wall wart on the 100.

Hey Rick, that was something I hadn't even thought about. I don't mind programming things, like, you know..a light switch, lol. I did manage to delay the fellow another wk or so. I appreciate you fellows sharing your experience with me. A LOT!!! Bob

I have a MX200 and mine only has 8999 parameters. What's the deal - was I ripped off??

John,if you remove the unit from it's casing, leaving it powered up and stick a butter knife between the AC outlet and the PC board you will have achived the 9000th parameter...a mystical state often compared to drinking a half bottle of Jack and peeing on an electrified fence. Whoa!
Just a little humour folks leave the butter knife in the drawer.
