My sho bud pro 2 custom.Has a l.k.r that lowers the B to a Bb on the 5th string, and also raises F# on the 1st sting to G#.Is this a normal?. How could this be used together?Or Is better used with a another grip?I haven"t seen many split levers like this. Are there any special moves that this was intended for?

It's not normal, no. Those two changes aren't usually ganged together on the same lever, but in most cases they won't interfere with each other either. The 5th string lower is usually on LKV (vertical).

I would probably avoid using the two changes together. On a lot of copedents it would be physically impossible anyway, because they have 1st string raise on LKR and the 5th string lower on LKV. That's more "normal".

I think that it way probably set up this way to get more out of the existing levers, instead of adding another lever.

Since you don't have a vertical lever, that combination makes sense. I have a similar situation on my RKR, where I lower string 2 to D and raise string 7 to G. I never use these changes together - the knee lever does "double duty" serving two different functions.

Hi James, i would raise the 7th a half or full note or lower the 6th a full note instead of the 5th strings on that lever, you should try both and see wich change you like best and fits better your playing, alot of players gets by without the Bb lowers cause you can get some of those notes elsewhere, but like i said...it all depends on what you like most.
