Ken,
Have you played through it yet? I've always wanted one of those...but I never seem to have the scrilla when one comes up for sale.

Not yet, I just have an old chassis that has been stored in a shed for years. No tank or foot switch with it! I will re-cap the board and test it out with a new reverb tank soon.
I would also like to find a picture of the inside of the box, showing the mounting of the board and tank. |

I hope to see how the tank fits into the box. Also outside dimensions of a tank would also be great.
Appreciate the photo, John |

Interesting! I have one of these Premier 90 reverb units that I've been storing and moving from home to home for 25 years, after finding the reverb excellent but the hum excessive. Maybe it's time to resurrect it!
Did anyone actually post the outside dimensions? Mine is in my offsite storage unit, but I'd be happy to measure it. |

Not yet! I bet that 3 section filter cap and a few caps replaced would bring it back up to snuff for you |

I wonder how many of us can say the exact same thing?
That black covering look's real cool.
These are awesome units. I got my 50's era for $45. |

No, that was what I needed. The tank is a standard Fender tank, 4AB2C1B. |

Ken. Would this unit be something simular to the old Fender tube reverb boxes? _________________ http://www.jagwirestrings.com |

Very simialar. The Fender and it used the same tank. The Fender had two more controls, one for the reverb signal tone and another called "Dwell". The dwell controlled the drive signal to the reverb tank. I can;t see the "Dwell" as critical or the tone, as both were eliminated on the Blackface and later amps. The old Fender reverb unit circuit was resurrected and used inthe 90;s Dual Professional amps. I had one, preferred and still preferred my RV-5 over it!
I thought it would be fun to get the old Premier back in a cabinet for the Dallas Show. It would be an option for someone wanting to check my new amps out with it as opposed to the RV-5 and RV-7 I will have there.
We will have the new amps in the Show Pro room, MSA room and on the main stage for use by artist wanting to try a tube amp, |
