I didn't see any venders at all. Most noticeably this year was Carter's absence. Oh well, the NAMM show was never a really good place to get the word out to the uninitiated....too chaotic IMO.

I was there 2 days, and only saw 2 players. Al Vescovo was tearing it up at the Lace (Alumitone) booth, and John McDuffie was playing a cool retro C&W set at the Gretsch booth. Other than that, I didn't see anything.

Maybe they are cutting back like every thing else. The last one I attended in Atlanta at least 25 years ago it was jumping. Met Mr. Emmons there and had a great conversation with him,The Sierra booth had their 14 string uni,This HUGE guy was playing it[maybe some of you may know who it was] He just blew my mind with all those big FAT chords he was playing. YOU BETCHA,DYK?BC.

Thanks for the info.I presume now that the steel world is basically on its own with shows in Dallas and StLouis among others.
