I didn't see any venders at all. Most noticeably this year was Carter's absence. Oh well, the NAMM show was never a really good place to get the word out to the uninitiated....too chaotic IMO.
I was there 2 days, and only saw 2 players. Al Vescovo was tearing it up at the Lace (Alumitone) booth, and John McDuffie was playing a cool retro C&W set at the Gretsch booth. Other than that, I didn't see anything. |

Maybe they are cutting back like every thing else. The last one I attended in Atlanta at least 25 years ago it was jumping. Met Mr. Emmons there and had a great conversation with him,The Sierra booth had their 14 string uni,This HUGE guy was playing it[maybe some of you may know who it was] He just blew my mind with all those big FAT chords he was playing.
