I had a '73 LDG that had the same undercarriage. It had very machine-like and smooth pedal action that I liked. Never had any tuning problems once it was tuned. There were a few times that I had to mess with the barrels if the spring on the barrel didn't extend past the base of the collar. No big problems and I thought it was a pretty stable system.

Those long springs are a little different, and not factory stuff...but alot of Budnicks think this was Sho-Bud's best vintage, myself included.

Kind of interesting to see a rack & barrel LKR on a 2 hole puller/barrel gtr.
What does the rest of the gtr look like?
