My string spcing on my MSA is tight when compared to a Stringmaster which feels comfy. I have a Dekley S12 that is more open. Can the changer( double raise/lower) be changed to accomodate a wider string spacing? And who can do this? Is it wise? Should I just get use to it?

Dwight.....The string spacing on your MSA 12 string is the same as a 10 string MSA and the same spacing at the pickup end as most pedal guitars. The spacing on your Fender is admittedly comfortable to many, primarily non pedal players, however there's a reason why most players prefer and manufacturers went to a closer string spacing. I respectfully suggest you consider allowing yourself time to get used to the closer strng spacing.

Hey Reese, how are ya? I kind of answered the same thing to myself. I do like the overall spacing from top to bottom. Had a GFI SD10 that felt more open but I noticed the MSA was tighter. Good advice Reese. Once again Reese, thank you for a Beautiful long lasting piece of worship, the MSA pedal steel guitar.
